Case study · Addington Palace · Wedding, filming and corporate venue
Bringing a palace’s marketing up to the standard of the palace
What was happening
Addington Palace is a Grade II* listed palace about half an hour from London, offering exclusive use for weddings, filming and corporate events. Its marketing hadn’t kept pace with the building: a dated brand, a website that needed fresher content and better search visibility, an unused database, lapsed showcase events and inconsistent directory listings. Enquiries were slow to turn into bookings.
What Philip saw
Three different buyers, one general approach.
Couples, film location scouts and corporate organisers each decide in their own way, but they were being served by one general approach. And a venue that sells itself best in person had stopped inviting people in.
What we did
We agreed the commercial goals, mapped the three buying journeys and audited everything from brand to data, so every activity could be measured against revenue. Then a refreshed identity, photography and tone of voice; a new website with separate journeys for weddings, filming and corporate, rebuilt for search; Google and Meta advertising split by audience; regular content and social; showcase events back in the calendar; directory listings brought up to date; and HubSpot rebuilt with follow-up emails, pipelines, reporting and tracking across every channel. Delivered while I was co-founder and director of Let’s Grow Agency.
What happened
Website visits up from around 100 a month to more than 8,000. Around 30 new enquiries and 50 brochure downloads a week. Google Ads returning 613% on ad spend. Eight weddings booked January to March 2026, against none in the same months of 2025. More than £350,000 of filming revenue in late 2025 and 2026. The client says the work transformed their marketing from the ground up, with a reliable weekly flow of leads, accountable paid campaigns and a clear view of the pipeline through HubSpot.
Every activity was measured against revenue, so the team could see what was working.

More of the work
Different businesses. Different starting points.
Wonderland Wedding Venues
Six tipi wedding venues brought together into one website before a big rise in ad spend. Now around 30 wedding bookings a month, and three more venues since.
Incredibble
A strategy day that gave a fast-growing talent business the words it had been missing, and the brief for its new website.
John Awad
His ads “weren't working”. Half the budget was going on NHS searches, the website read like a CV, and nobody could see which bookings it brought in.
