Case study · Incredibble · Fractional marketing talent
From “we’re not recruiters” to momentum and confidence
What was happening
“We're not recruiters.”
Incredibble, founded by Helen Dibble, places senior freelance marketing people into organisations, often for a few months at a time. The business had already won big clients, but Helen kept having to explain that they weren’t recruiters, when in some ways they are.
What Philip saw
Clients weren't buying talent. They were protecting momentum.
Whatever the reason for the gap, clients were trying to keep their momentum and feel confident the person coming in was right. The recruitment label was the wrong argument to be having.
What we did
A full strategy day with Helen covering clients, past wins and losses, buying triggers, decision makers and the wider market. That became a strategic positioning, a short manifesto and a brief for the content and website, which I then delivered with a specialist content creator.
What happened
Helen said it described her business more accurately than she had ever managed herself. The new website launches shortly.
Client feedback
“This is the clearest I've ever been about how to position my business. Working with Philip has changed how I think about it, where I'm taking it and what I need to do next.”
Helen Dibble, founder, Incredibble
More of the work
Different businesses. Different starting points.
Addington Palace
A Grade II* listed palace outside London, from around 100 website visits a month to more than 8,000, and eight weddings booked in a quarter that had none the year before.
Wonderland Wedding Venues
Six tipi wedding venues brought together into one website before a big rise in ad spend. Now around 30 wedding bookings a month, and three more venues since.
John Awad
His ads “weren't working”. Half the budget was going on NHS searches, the website read like a CV, and nobody could see which bookings it brought in.
