Case study · Under Armour Golf UK · Sports retail distribution
Turning a labour-intensive mess into a self-serve tool
What was happening
“We need our resellers more engaged.”
Under Armour Golf’s UK distribution partner supports stockists from American Golf to the local club professional with product images, social content and campaign material. It was all done by hand, across different tiers of stockist, and information got missed.
What Philip saw
Let stockists help themselves.
More people or more process wouldn’t fix it. Stockists needed to get exactly what they were entitled to, whenever they needed it.
What we did
A web app with a login and dashboard for each stockist: key dates, campaign packs and every asset for the products they sell, searchable like a catalogue, with single or bulk downloads, seasonal uploads and newsletters. Delivered while I was co-founder and director of Let’s Grow Agency.
What happened
Live for around two years. Far less manual work, more stockists using the material to sell, and the partner can now see who uses what and support those who don’t.
Client feedback
“The difference between succeeding and failing… resulting in a huge increase in engagement from our UK audience.”
Charlie Du-Pre, Under Armour UK
More of the work
Different businesses. Different starting points.
Addington Palace
A Grade II* listed palace outside London, from around 100 website visits a month to more than 8,000, and eight weddings booked in a quarter that had none the year before.
Wonderland Wedding Venues
Six tipi wedding venues brought together into one website before a big rise in ad spend. Now around 30 wedding bookings a month, and three more venues since.
Incredibble
A strategy day that gave a fast-growing talent business the words it had been missing, and the brief for its new website.
